Combining musical perspectives over five years ago, Rusty Meeks, Juicy Jamey and Jared Andres started a monthly dance party in Calgary, Canada at Habitat Living Sound that features a psychedelic combination of sax, congas, and electronic music.

After a few years honing in their fully improvised live act, the boys entered the studio and named their band BLVD NOIR. Closer in spirit to jazz, downtempo, dub and psych explorations than traditional club music, BLVD NOIR released their first studio album "Ombres EP" in March 2018.

Continuing to forge a unique sound on their new EP "Mes Amis", BLVD NOIR have incorporated diverse influences, unusual production techniques, and new instruments including clarinet, tabla, detuned pianos, guitars and live bass.
